Memorial Health Center recognizes that employee benefits represent an important component in our compensation program.
We feel very fortunate to offer an extensive benefit package to meet the needs of our employees and we are pleased to offer the same, and in some cases, better benefits as compared to others.
Memorial Health Center does an excellent job keeping health insurance coverage affordable. According to a survey published in 2008 by the Wisconsin Hospital Association, many employers in the state of Wisconsin are experiencing an average of a 5% increase in premiums. During this same year, many of these same employees are also facing higher deductibles in their plans, of at least $1,000. Memorial Health Center is the exception; we did not increase our cost!
We believe that much of our success in controlling our benefit costs comes from our organization’s and our employee’s commitment to personal wellness.
As a benefit to our employees, we offer an extensive wellness program that is a combination of activities that focus on health promotion, disease prevention, nutrition, weight-management, cardio-vascular health, smoking cessation, and stress management. The benefits to employees joining our wellness program include lower insurance premiums, the ability to earn up to $100 in wellness dollars, decreased costs for programs offered here at Memorial Health Center, and increased job satisfaction.
